Exploration plays a major role in Forza Horizon 6, and one of the best examples of this design philosophy is the Treasure Car system. Rather than rewarding players solely for winning races or completing championships, the game encourages drivers to venture into hidden corners of the map in search of unique collectibles. Among the earliest and most accessible discoveries is the 1991 Nissan Figaro, a charming retro vehicle hidden within Tokyo's sprawling urban landscape.

Unlike many desirable vehicles that require large amounts of FH6 Credits or extensive progression milestones, the Nissan Figaro can be obtained completely free. The challenge lies in locating it. The game only provides a vague clue, leaving players to search one of the most densely populated regions of the map. Fortunately, with the right approach, finding this hidden treasure becomes much easier.

Finding the Nissan Figaro

The Nissan Figaro is located in southern Tokyo, near the bridge network that connects the mainland to Daikoku Island. Many players initially assume the vehicle is hidden somewhere on one of the major bridges, but this is not the case. Instead, the car is tucked away in a small parking area beneath the busy infrastructure that dominates this section of the city.

The key to locating the Figaro is identifying several visual landmarks. Rainbow Bridge serves as one of the most useful points of reference. If you can see the bridge in the distance while exploring the southern shoreline area, you are already close to the correct location.

The parking lot itself sits between bridge connections leading toward Daikoku Island. Because the area is partially hidden by road layouts, barriers, and elevation changes, it is surprisingly easy to drive past it multiple times without noticing the entrance.

Players should focus their search on the corridor between the southern expressway routes and the nearby bridge structures. Once in the correct area, the hidden parking lot becomes much easier to identify.

The Fastest Route to the Treasure Car

Tokyo's dense road network can make navigation difficult, especially when searching for a specific location. Instead of relying on random exploration, it is far more efficient to follow a direct route.

Begin by heading toward the southern highway system that circles Tokyo. As you approach the coastal area, position yourself near the bridge connections leading toward Daikoku Island. Keep an eye out for a narrow parking entrance branching away from the main road.

One of the best tools available during the search is Drone Mode. Switching to an aerial perspective dramatically improves visibility and allows players to scan parking lots, rooftops, and side streets much faster than traditional driving. In a city environment where roads overlap and visibility is limited, the drone can save a significant amount of time.

Once the Treasure Car icon appears, players can immediately place a waypoint and allow the navigation system to guide them directly to the vehicle.

Claiming the Nissan Figaro

Unlocking the Figaro is refreshingly simple. There are no races to complete, no challenges to overcome, and no resources to spend.

After locating the vehicle, simply drive up to it and activate the interaction prompt. A short acquisition sequence will play, and the car will be permanently added to your collection.

Most importantly, no FH6 Credits are required. Unlike many high-profile vehicle purchases, the Figaro costs nothing once discovered. The unlock is also permanent, meaning players never need to repeat the process.

This straightforward acquisition process makes Treasure Cars one of the most rewarding exploration activities in the game.

Performance Overview

While the Nissan Figaro is undeniably stylish, it was never intended to be a competitive racing machine. As a D-Class vehicle, it occupies the lower end of the performance spectrum.

Powered by a modest 0.99-liter engine producing just 75 horsepower, the Figaro prioritizes character over speed. Acceleration is slow, top speed remains under 100 mph, and the front-wheel-drive layout limits its performance potential in demanding race scenarios.

Handling is relatively stable at lower speeds, making the vehicle pleasant to drive around the city. However, its limited power output becomes immediately noticeable when attempting highway runs or competitive events.

The lightweight construction helps offset some of these limitations, but the Figaro remains a vehicle designed more for enjoyment than performance.

What Makes the Figaro Unique?

Although its statistics are unremarkable, the Nissan Figaro possesses qualities that make it stand out among other FH6 Cars.

Its retro-inspired design captures the spirit of early 1990s Japanese automotive culture. The convertible body, rounded styling, and distinctive appearance ensure that it attracts attention wherever it goes.

Collectors also appreciate the vehicle because it represents a limited-production real-world model that rarely appears in modern racing games. For players interested in automotive history, adding the Figaro to the garage provides something genuinely different from the supercars and hypercars that dominate much of the roster.

In many ways, the Figaro embodies the spirit of exploration that defines Forza Horizon 6.

Is the Nissan Figaro Worth Unlocking?

From a competitive perspective, the Figaro will not replace your fastest race cars. It lacks the acceleration, handling precision, and top speed required for serious competition.

However, evaluating the vehicle purely on performance misses the point entirely.

The Figaro serves as an introduction to the Treasure Car system and highlights the importance of exploration within the game's progression structure. Unlocking it teaches players how hidden rewards are distributed throughout the map and encourages them to venture beyond traditional race events.

For collectors, completionists, and fans of unique vehicles, the Figaro is absolutely worth the effort.

Your Next Collectible Adventure

Obtaining the Nissan Figaro is only the beginning. Treasure Cars represent just one part of Forza Horizon 6's broader collectible ecosystem. Additional hidden vehicles, Barn Finds, loyalty rewards, and exploration-based discoveries are scattered throughout Japan, waiting to be uncovered.

As players expand their garages, earn more cheap Forza Horizon 6 Credits, and discover additional FH6 Cars, the world of Forza Horizon 6 continues to reveal new secrets. The Nissan Figaro may not be the fastest vehicle in the game, but it is one of the most memorable early discoveries and an excellent introduction to the rewards that exploration can offer.
